Douro Cruise

The Douro cruise will be on the 12 th  May 2007. It is considered on of the best cruises to do in Europe. During this cruise you can admire an unique landscape, on a course of natural, dramatic and rustic sceneries of rare beauty, where fresh and green steps hills alternate between the sinuous and narrow granite valleys. The river is embroider by vineyards, besprinkled with small whitewashed villages and red roofs in a serene harmony between Man and Nature. Worthy of mention are the admirable flood gates, the one from Crestuma/Lever dam with 14 m difference in level and the one from Carrapatelo - the highest in Europe, with 35 m difference in level.
Lunch will be served on board, as well as a Port wine aperitive. After the passengers' landing at Régua, visit a typical farm and return to Porto by bus.
